《海德尔》改编自莎士比亚的《哈姆雷特》。
　　一名年轻人（海德尔） 获悉他父亲失踪的消息后，从学校返回克什米尔。自卫部队以窝藏激进分子的罪名，逮捕了他的父亲。海德尔发现了他的妈妈与自己的叔叔有暧昧关系，不久，海德尔得知是他的叔叔主导了父亲的谋杀案，于是为死去的父亲展开了复仇之旅……

　　德军入侵莫斯科令楚楚又一次亲眼目睹死亡，而她自己也被德军抓住，落入一个有在女性人体上纹身作画癖好的德国将军之手，噩梦自此不断，罗小蛮则在后方当上了递送阵亡通知的“黑色信使”。

　　To chase her dream of going to school in her remote Himalayan village, a feisty paraplegic girl locks horns with her tradition-bound grandfather.
　　Sprightly Chuskit's dream of going to school is cut short when she is rendered a paraplegic after an accident. She's confined to life indoors in the company of her strict grandfather, Dorje. Chuskit continues to harbor hopes of school but Dorje tries to make her understand that school can't handle her needs. As life at home gets harder, her battle with her grandfather exacerbates. Caught in between their struggle are Chuskit's parents and her enterprising brother who want to respect the old world views that Dorje represents, but also want to keep Chuskit's spirit alive. Chuskit will have to get her grandfather to yield or she will have to accept the reality he has chosen for her.

　　Bullied by his matriarchal mother, abused by his siblings, ignored by his father, Poil de Carotte's childhood is as miserable as it could be.  An illegitimate child, he is the main reason for the enmity which exists between his parents, who continue to live together just to keep up appearances. In the end, Poil de Carotte's suffering becomes more than he can bear...
　　Review
　　Drawing heavily on the poignant novel by Jules Renard on which it is based, Poil de carotte is a modest yet appealing film which has stood the test of time mainly because of the quality of its acting performances and its inherent humanity. It is more memorable than Julien Duvivier's earlier silent version of 1925, also named Poil de Carotte.
　　The part of Poil de Carotte was played by 11 year old Robert Lynen, who was alleged to have been discovered whilst walking down the Champs-Elysées in Paris. Lynen is totally captivating and the film made him an instant star, launching what looked like becoming a very promising film career – until he was shot dead whilst fighting against the Germans in 1944.  Harry Baur, a legendary stage and film actor (who also died during World War II, allegedly at the hands of the Gestapo), also turns in a typically fine performance.  The reconciliation between father and son at the end of the film provides its most enduring image, enough to melt the heart of all but the most stoical of spectators.

　　《海墘新路》是2017年马来西亚电影，由苏忠兴自编自导，是一部关于其家庭的半传记电影。电影以1970年代的槟城（马来西亚北部华裔人口为多的繁华岛屿）为背景，是马来西亚首部电影全片只使用槟城福建话。片名《海墘新路》是槟城当地人對乔治市（槟城市中心）Victoria Street的称呼，福建话为Hai Kin Xin Lor。
　　经年未有回到家乡槟城的Sunny（李洺中 饰）终于这一个农历新年回乡见一见姐姐阿云（杨雁雁 饰）、两位姑姑以及旧同学。身为导演的Sunny一直都是家人引以为傲的存在，认为他事业有成、生活美满。
　　然而Sunny怀着的却是无法向他人道出的困顿，在现实与理想之间拉扯与挣扎，如今更为了开拍一部对他而言非常重要的电影而花光了经费。电影关于Sunny的孩提时代和家庭故事，其中包括一个不可告人、令Sunny蒙上巨大阴影至今的事故/悲剧，他对母亲感到无法理解，对精神病患胞兄更是有着莫大的怨怼。

　　阿斯兰（提穆尔·艾达贝科夫 Timur Aidarbekov 饰）是一位心思细腻的13岁男孩，在一次体检中，他不幸在全班同学面前闹了笑话，这给阿斯兰的精神带来了巨大的打击，崩溃之中的阿斯兰爆发出了隐藏多年的潜在人格，摇身一变成为了控制狂。
　　一直以来，阿斯兰和祖母过着相依为命的生活，他精神方面的障碍让本就不富裕的家庭雪上加霜。博拉特（阿斯兰·阿纳巴耶夫 Aslan Anarbayev 饰）是当地的恶霸，阿斯兰的同学们都要上缴保护费才能够免于被他凌辱的厄运。阿斯兰没有钱，自然成为了博拉特重点霸凌的对象，在一次又一次愈演愈烈的欺辱之中，阿斯兰咬紧牙关，随时都在爆发的边缘。

　　Maurizio is a stubborn boy who grows up near the fiumara, where people throw away whatever they no longer need. This open-air dump becomes his playground, where among wrecked cars and other treasures large and small, he begins to dream of playing in the town band. Mamma Rosa looks on his musical aspirations as a childish whim, a luxury that the family cannot afford. And so, between the good advice by Mosè the donkey and the pranks by chicken N’Giulina, Maurizio is faced with a growing series of adventures and comes to the realization that, if his dream is to come true, he must be determined to see it through right to the end.
